Week 7

Well the weeks are going to start on Sundays so that will be the day I will try to post around each week. This week, Baby Smith's elbows and fingers will start to develop. Please pray for five fingers and a strong forehand!

If you could also pray for Rachel as she has been having some significant "afternoon/evening" sickness. She has to start school so it would be nice if that would simply go away.

For the first verse I'll use my title verse:

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13

Just drop your name and location into a comment so I can track prayers for the little bean (see Rachel's blog for more details).

We're definitely praying for all 3 of you as the weeks progress. I'm glad we'll hear the "emotional" side from Rachel and the "medical" side from you. So fun! Congratulations!!

Justin, this is a great thing to let us in on the details of God's creation. You know when we were having our children, a lot of it was just guess work.Ha! At least we did know they were gifts from the Lord. We will certainly look forward to your weekly blogs and add each prayer request to our daily prayers.
We love you guys,
Sylva and Leo

This is one of the most fun times in your marriage (after the sickness ends, that is)! Enjoy all that is to come!

LOL about the strong forehand! Not so LOL about Rachel's sickness!
YUCK! I personalized your Psalm and prayed it everyday over both of my girls. Then I remembered that I, too, was knit together. Remind Rachel of that when she's feeling not so remarkable b/c she and her body are very much miraculous!

Father God, bless Baby Smith. Knit that precious one perfectly and give strength to Rachel in the coming days. Motherhood is an adventure and sacrifice that will only make her more and more like Jesus. Give Justin the wisdom to know just what to say and do to take care of his family. We praise You for how creative You are! Amen! Love, The Kinslow's

Justin,
Children are such a gift of God and I am so thankful that He gave me two wonderful sons. Thanks for sharing this special time in your lives. You, Rachel and Baby Smith are in our prayers.

What a great idea! One of the first things we counted when both Sara and Rachel were born were their precious little fingers and toes - mirror images of the Savior's hands and feet!!!

We've been praying numbers of times each day for all of you...and now we'll know how to do it even better!

Blessings and love!

Houston feels like a LONG ways away right now to your family in Kansas...so thanks, Justin, for giving us another little "window" where we can watch Baby Smith grow every week! We're taking great pleasure in hearing the details from both of you (particularly Great Grannie Fern), so keep 'em coming... and take good care of our girl Rachel!
